Should US Marines die so that Mrs Muhammad can vote?
One of these men says yes and one says no. What do you think?
This video frames the debate fairly imo and it’s a debate we need to have, especially considering events in Afghanistan lately.
Should the U.S. Stay in Afghanistan?

A few points.. Petraeus and others apparently still believe this is doable. Yet most vets who’ve been there (based on my contact with them, for what that’s worth) seem to think our approach at present is an exercise in futility. They don’t necessarily push ‘giving up’ on targeting the Taliban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan (and Pakistan) but most favor Dr Michael Scheuer’s view (see video). Not that “the war is lost” but that it’s not being fought like a WAR.
And here’s an Afghan’s view from the inside. Well worth your time imo.

Yeah, its futile when even under Bush when I served in combat, the Rules of Engagement are so LIBERAL and USELESS we would have no chance in a real war like WW2.
